For the first time in history, Fort Wayne’s famous vintage trains will operate a special series of special tourist trains throughout the region. In a special partnership with the Indiana Northeastern Railroad and the non-profit, all-volunteer Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, train trips are operated between the Indiana communities of Ashley, Hudson, Hamilton, Angola, Fremont, as well as Hillsdale, Michigan.
These living-history adventures will welcome visitors from around the country and offer trips for passengers of all ages – from steam-powered excursions, first-class wine, and dinner trains, field trips for students, and much more – and contribute thousands of dollars to the local economy in the process.
